20th Century Fox wanted to make Planet of the Apes the summer
of 2001’s biggest movie. The objective was to create an
impactful, intimidating and intense online campaign playing off
the concept of "Fear."
Relying on the target audiences’ familiarity
with the original Planet of the Apes, we built units that enhanced
the excitement and hype surrounding the movie. The effort ultimately
lifts in awareness and purchase intent, and was part of a study
with a major portal that showed a significant impact on ticket
purchase behaviour being linked to online advertising.
